All Flocked Up

DESCRIPTION

In All Flocked Up, you play as a pigeon who was separated from his flock during a crazy wind storm that blew through Kensington Market in downtown Toronto. Using running, flying, gliding, diving, and of course pooping, you must locate your flockmates by helping others complete quests while avoiding all the dangers of everyday life for a pigeon such as humans or other animals. Complete quests, adventure through the market, and find your flock!

CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Worked as the LEAD PROGRAMMER on the project, constantly reviewing code throughout and assisting others with task completion
  • Developed different AI systems for the enemies featured in AFU (such as Hawks, Dogs, and the NPC named Carlos) using Unreal’s built-in Behavior Trees and Blackboard functionality
  • Utilized IK (Inverse Kinematics) in implementation of the Carlos NPC for more realistic interactions
  • Worked on the Accessory system used in the game (for equipping/unequipping accessories as well as the accessory menu and functionality)
